What could someone do to make you happy?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 22, 2009:
No one can make me happy but myself.
This being said, I have a dream that everyone would take care of their own baggage and work on their peace and happiness. So as a collective, i would be happy when the planet will be inhabited by human beings who will responsibility manage their emotions, treat others with respect and integrity and who will treat the earth like it is the jewel that it is.
I have a dream that no child would ever again be abused, neglected, starved or sacrificed.
I have a dream that we would live a paradise on this earth with balance between male and female principles.
This would make me happy.

Help

Joining you in the dream, sister. These things can no longer be justified or rationalised as 'not easy to fix'. Whoever said anything worthwhile was going to be easy?
Exploitation, deliberate mind games, outright deceitful business practices all require effort and apparently are endorsed by society by not protesting.
'Silence is consent!' is my express view!
It is time for Humanity to take responsibility for its actions and non-action to date.
In the Creator's Name.

Beautifully said Anges!
((hugs)), smiles & love to you
I agree with you that we make our own happiness, and we need to work on ourselves before looking to others; and there is also a level of reality in which we create systems that have effects on others.
So long as those systems do not ensure that every person gets the basic needs (as defined by Maslow), then we also need to focus some attention on those systems.
I extend the dream, to include not just children, but all self aware entities, and join you in it.
Sherri, Miss Jo and Ted, my apologies for taking so long to get back to you. My next blog will explain (not an excuse though) a little why I have been silent recently.
Blessings to you all
