This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 06, 2009:
Entrusting everything I have, my life, my soul, my children, my relationship, my friendships, my belongings and my work to God. But is it really a risk? I feel suspended in love.

That is probably the biggest risk of all…but then no risk at all at the same time. I suppose once we get past the Mind's fear of the risk, we realize that in eternity there's no risk, just that love.
I agree with you Kathy. Leaving the ego-mind behind and letting go of trying to control everything is liberating and in fact no risk at all… I used to fear doing it because I lived so much from the ego-centre. It takes a lot of practice to let go of the insurance mentality :-)
Indeed. So many words we use in day to day life simply speak to the distance we have taken from our natural self, which instinctively looks to God as authority. No other 'animal' or species is this fear based. It is quite natural to let things flow and not attempt to control; but as we re-learn our selves: as God re-asserts control, we will see that there is no risk taken in fact. We are consistently provided for in every imaginable way. Thanks for sharing. Luv S
“The eternal God is a dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms; And He drove out the enemy from before you, And said, 'Destroy!'”
(Deuteronomy 33:27)
As Kathy says, that enemy includes fear.
It's funny, in a spiritual way, as BEFORE I entrusted my life to God, there was so much fear about so many things.
Now, in His / Her hands in trust and faith, life is sooooo much easier and every flowing to bountiful new landscapes…
