What type of weather are you wishing for today?

I never wish for a specific weather. I take it as it comes. I don't understand people who get depressed when it rains. They should follow the lead from children who put their boots on, grab their umbrellas and jump in puddles. Every weather is great weather.

Now that I have been that positive, I am going to be real: I need warmth at this point. I am dragging a stinking cold and a bit of sunshine would do me good. But even after saying this: I take the weather as it comes, just like I take emotions as they come. None of them are good or bad. Nature needs it all.

Namaste

Well said.

For I neither understand the aversion to rainy weather.

A teacher of mine once said something interesting about karma.

A persons negative karma is not that which causes it to rain, it is that which causes one to react negativley to the rain.

Anyway, I digress…

Hello you, do you like to be called Drunk with Barley? I totally agree with you. You are not digressing, you are spot on. I guess being in Scotland, you have to embrace the elements… or maybe I am being biased. If that’s the case, I apologise.

To digress further, I would say that there is no good or bad weather, there just is weather. We humans like to classify everything as good or bad. From the perspective of karma… that sets a trend.

Wishing you a weather-ful day

Hello you!

Thou may call me what thou wish.  ‘Dave’ however is the shortest most common way to dog-whistle me across the floor.

And no, there is naught biased about your comment.  ‘Tis entirely true that Scotland, bless her wee heart, was at the back of the queue when tropical weather was being handed out.

An astute point you are making about karma and ‘trend setting’.  Could not have put it better.

Dear new friend!  This is a lovely blog.  My husband will often bemoan the weather & that can drive me crazy.  (of course then that’s my own bemoaning so must settle into that feeling too without resisting…not always possible!)

Have really settled into accepting our long winter this year, spending time outdoors.  While part of me longs for spring or summer, the other part is pretty much OK with what presents itself today.  (however a trip to Florida next month isn’t going to hurt matters any…)

Thank you Satya for providing our introduction!

Thank you everyone for stopping by, you have really made my day. I was feeling under the weather (pun intended - I know, it’s an easy one but coming from a French girl…. you know) and now I have the sunshine in my heart… and Dave I have the rain too… Phew

I always have the sunshine in my heart.

Satya, thank you for leading the path to Centria’s blog about “I’m not a lightworker”. Which comment was it that you were about to make?

Just to add a bit of spice to the discussion: I come from France… lived a year in Finland (that’s got to top up Scotland, Dave) and have now happily settled in England where people talk about the weather all the time. French people keep telling me how crazy I am to have left sunny France for wet England. English people keep on telling me how crazy I am to have left… you know the end.

The truth of the matter, I love weather. I love the sun, I love the rain, I love the clouds… all shapes and colours… I love the sky… maybe just the wind challenges me a little because I have very sensitive ears. But then I wear hats and that’s all right.

A brilliant day to all of you.

Yours

Thank you Mila. I’ll take it to bed with a really good book. How is that? Nah, instead, need to go pick the kids from school: bugger! Good try though.

Good to feel loved.

Blessings
