This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 03, 2008:
My job... as an international trilingual corporate lawyer... and with it a sense of false identity that made me think I was my occupation, my earnings and my possessions. This help me to get rid of a lot of ego - even though I wasn't your typical corporate lawyer interested in money making businesses... but it set me free to let the artist, the healer and the dreamer out. It allowed me space to blossom as a spiritual mum... a writer... a nurturer.
Losses are not always what they seem - yet it took me much longer than I thought to give up that identity.

I am so happy for you. It is hard to separate our jobs from our sense of self a lot of the time. I hope your journey just keeps getting better.
It does because I feel closer to my soul purpose and to my essence. It feels so much better.
I have just checked your profile and it seems that you have made the big jump. Well done. It takes guts. It takes time to reinvent oneself but it is so much worth it. Before my life was full of stress, fear and anxiety… now it's sometimes hairy on the financial side of things but I am supported by angels and it is so much more fulfilling. I help women who have been through major crises in their lives and it is so rewarding.
